Latest update (Nov 20): the Winter School has been postponed to an early next year date. The new date will be announced very soon on this web page and through our mailing lists.
The School, organized by Newcom++ partners NKUA-IASA and ISS-RWTH, with active participation from many other partners, will be held in Aachen, Germany from December 2 to 5, 2008. It will occupy fully these four days. During the School, a two-day workshop will also be held in the afternoon (December 3-4, 2008) where the participants (researchers, doctoral students, etc.) will have the opportunity to present their own research work related to flexible radio and such networks.
For planning purposes, potential participants are kindly requested to register their participation as soon as possible by sending an email to:

Due to the upcoming Christmas season and related travel, registration and accommodation arrangements should happen the earliest possible.
Room reservation in the proposed hotels should be made by November 17th, 2008.
The scope of the school is to cover all the aspects related to Flexible Radio to the degree possible, including lectures on algorithmic, platform-centric and network-level flexibility, as outlined below.

The NEWCOM Winter School will be taking place at the new UMIC Research Centre, Mies-van-der-Rohe-Str. 15, Aachen, Germany.
