The forthcoming Newcom++ Winter School addresses "Flexible Radio and related  technologies". The scope of the school is to cover the various aspects related to flexible radio and networks to the degree possible within a weekly intensive course, including lectures on algorithmic, platform-centric and network-level flexibility as described below.

The School, organized by Newcom++ partners NKUA-IASA (Prof. Andreas Polydoros) and ISS-RWTH (Prof. Heinrich Meyr), with active participation from many other partners, will be held in Aachen, Germany in the UMIC Research Centre. It will occupy fully four days. During the School's week, a two half-day workshop will also be held in two afternoons, where the participants (researchers, doctoral students, etc.) will have the opportunity to present their own research work related to flexible radio and such networks.

The details for the event are:

Date: February 3-6, 2009

Location: Aachen, Germany:

UMIC Research Centre Registration deadline: January 18, 2009
