Vehicular Communication Networks: from theory to implementation - Graduate Course UCL - Nov 18-19, 2010
This two-day course provides an introduction to peer-to-peer networks, from channel modeling to the PHY and MAC layers, with a focus on vehicle-to-vehicle networks. The course will therefore alternate theoretical topics (T) in propagation, signal processing, information theory and MAC design, with concepts for implementation (I) of vehicular networks and standardization. The various speakers will also highlight which theoretical results are actually implemented in a car-to-car system and relevant for its performance.
