International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks and Communications - CrownCom 2009

 Special Session NEWCom++ “Flexible and Opportunistic Wireless Access - the Newcom++ vision

This session aims to present the research results of the European Network of Excellence in Wireless Communications NEWCOM++. You are invited to submit papers covering, but not limited to, the following categories:

- Cognitive and opportunistic radios and networks,

- Advanced spectrum management strategies,

- Spectrum sensing,

- Dynamic spectrum sharing,

- Flexible Radio Resource Management (RRM),

- Joint RRM strategies in heterogeneous networks,

- Opportunistic routing and relaying,

- Flexible air interfaces and radio access technologies,

- Adaptive transmission techniques,

- The impact of imperfect channel side information,

- Cognitive engine functionalities,

- Self-configuration in extremely dynamic channels and networks

- Game-theoretic description of cognitive and opportunistic radio  

 

Submission deadline: February 23, 2009

Notification of acceptance: April 20, 2009

Camera ready: May 4, 2009

 

The proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks and Communications will be published in the IEEE Xplore database.

Important: To submit your paper upload it via TrackChair in pdf format to Track 4 "Research projects" (http://crowncom2009.trackchair.com/track/475).  Please, provide the paper title, the list of authors and their affiliations, to Hanna Bogucka (e-mail: hbogucka@et.put.poznan.pl) with cc to Adrian Kliks (e-mail: akliks@et.put.poznan.pl). Please, inform us of your intention to submit a paper as soon as possible.
