WPS.4 - Virtual Centre of Excellence on Wireless Communications (ViCEWiCom)

Objectives
The main target of this WP is to activate and organize an open window of NEWCOM++ towards the outer scientific community, which behaves as a reference interaction point for worldwide research on the new frontiers of wireless communications, hereafter called the Virtual Centre of Excellence on Wireless Communications (ViCE-WiCom). ViCE-WiCom intends to promote and capture interests of all stakeholders in the field, so as to organize the exchange of knowledge, teachware, software, and any other relevant stuff, through the use of a collaborative space. The anticipated outcome of the WP is a permanent public interaction point where interested communities can register and self-organize to share knowledge chunks
(papers, reports, course materials, etc.) and find ideas and inspirations for new initiatives (research proposals, special issues, workshops, etc.). In a sense, ViCE-WiCom is paving the road for the long-term survival of the legacy of NEWCOM++, which intends to play the role of catalyst of knowledge-based integration in the area of wireless communications, well beyond the formal NoE lifetime.
