Many thanks to Jossy Sayir for being the first to inform us about the 2010 IEEE Information Theory
Paper Award presented to Erdal Arikan, our NEWCOM++ colleague and friend, from Bilkent University.
Erdal is a member of NEWCOM++ (and previously of NEWCOM) and is currently leading the WPR.4 - Iterative Receivers for Wireless Communications. All NEWCOM++ researchers are joining the N++ Executive and Scientific Boards in congratulating Erdal for this award!
