Innovative sessions
At ISSSTA 2008 we will experiment with some unconventional forms of session, where open problems will be discussed in an explorative fashion adopting parallel thinking tools. Every attendee will have a chance to express and generate ideas
Special sessions
Submission of proposals for special/panel sessions on hot topics should be submitted to isssta08_organization@arces.unibo.it by December 31, 2008
Tutorials
Submission of proposals for Tutorials on fundamental topics should be submitted to isssta08_tutorials@arces.unibo.it by February 1, 2008
Exhibitions
Exhibits are welcome for demonstrators, products, and books in the conference technical areas. Proposals should be submitted to isssta08_organization@arces.unibo.it by March 1, 2008
Conference Venue
The conference will be held at the Hotel Savoia Regency in Bologna, Italy. Bologna, the hometown of Guglielmo Marconi, is the regional capital of Emilia Romagna, lying midway between Venice and Florence and at a close distance to Ferraris headquarters in Maranello.
Bologna preserves traces of its past culture and the imprinting of Italian medieval magnificence. World famous for its cuisine and its two towers Asinelli and Garisenda, Bologna is animated by a cosmopolitan culture nurtured by its University, founded in 1088 and oldest in the Western World, which gained the city its name of Bologna la Dotta (the learned town).
