We are pleased to announce the forthcoming NEWCOM++ School on Cognitive Wireless Communication Networks, which it will be held on May 4-7, 2010 at the premises of the Institutions Markets Technologies (IMT) Institute for Advanced Studies, located in the beautiful town of Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.

 

During its four-day program, six half-day high-qualified lectures will provide the main theoretical tools, describing the relevant solutions and methods, and addressing the problems still open in these areas. Specific topics of the course will include: spectrum sensing and pooling, network design, resource allocation, and optimization methods.

The lectures will be given by:

Prof. Sergio Barbarossa, University of Roma "La Sapienza", Italy

Prof. Mérouane Debbah, Supélec-Gif-sur-Yvette, France

Dr. Samson Lasaulce, Supélec-Université Paris-Sud, France

Prof. Christophe Moy, Supélec-Rennes, France

Prof. Vahid Tarokh, Harvard University, USA

Prof. Xiaodong Wang, Columbia University, USA

 

Students and young researchers are invited to present their own works during a half-day poster technical presentation.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The school will be held in Lucca (Italy) from Tuesday, May 4, to Friday, May 7, 2010.

Registration will close on April 11, 2010.
