Final program summer school 2008

NEWCOM (Network of Excellence in Wireless COMmunications) is an European network that links in a cooperative way a large number of leading research groups addressing the Strategic Objective "Mobile and wireless systems beyond 3G", a frontier research area of the Priority Thematic Area of IST. Today, it has become one of Europe’s flagship initiatives in telecommunications. Within the auspices of Newcom, schools devoted to hot topics in communications will be organized. The first will be organised in Bressanone, Italy, from June 30- July 4, 2008 and it is devoted to “Wireless Sensor Networks”. In parallel to the school a Emerging topic workshop is running with the aim of dissemination of results obtained within the various departments and projects of Newcom.
